  • With accessibility in mind, all curriculum content is available to students virtually.

As herbalism is an embodied practice, we bring together our student cohorts once a month in-person in both Northern and Southern California to build local community through guided plant practice.

Our programming is limited to the Bay Area (Nor Cal / Oakland) and Los Angeles (proper). Camping trips are located in an extended geographical range.

  • We will have a class discussion community and graduates will be able to access our alumni network to stay in touch and connect with Semillas from years past and cohort’s concurrent!

  • Certification students receive guaranteed access to our Audit Program.

This vision acknowledges the tending of our mission with student participation, investing in our program and it’s future. Audits build stronger herbal practitioners, empowers different learning styles, and weaves resilient networks of connection – embodying our values and empowering our students.

Our goal in building our Herbal Certification Pathway is to offer retroactive cohort auditing throughout your journey. What does this mean?

For example, you have completed your first year with us and will be moving forward into Year 2. Automatically included in your ongoing tuition is the opportunity to audit the next year’s cohort while you are actively enrolled. As a student progresses along our certification path, they will continue to have the opportunity to refresh their skills, review material, and connect with our broader certification community members.

While we are in the process of developing a program we stand behind - this is a stop gap way to continue to embody this vision. As far as we know, herbal certification audits is a completely unique offer solely provided by Ancestral Arts today industry wide.
