Audit

Program

What is auditing?

“Auditing a class” means enrolling in a program where you attend lectures and access course materials, but do not receive credit for it, allowing you to learn about a subject without the pressure of needing to complete assignments. Essentially, you are “observing” the class.
It’s a low-risk way to refresh and build your knowledge while enjoying the freedom to learn at your own pace.

  • You want to review material, deepening your understanding and reinforcing concepts by revisiting material in a guided container

  • Receive continued live guidance in your practice from professional herbal guides

  • You want to learn in community, gaining new perspectives from different teachers and cohort members, building connections

  • Fill in the gaps - your previous program didn’t off the breadth of ours but it doesn’t make sense to pay full price overlap

  • You want to learn with no pressure - don’t worry about projects, homework, or deadlines. Show up + learn!

  • Keep your skills fresh - access recordings not available to you by your previous program .

  • Access evergreen courses through Ancestral Arts offered through our Pathways

  • Prepare to transfer in to our Herbal Certification Pathway from other schools and mend learning gaps in a live container.

Why audit?

Why do you offer audits?

This vision acknowledges the tending of our mission with student participation, investing in our program and it’s future. Audits build stronger herbal practitioners, empowers different learning styles, and weaves resilient networks of connection – embodying our values and empowering our students.

Our goal in building our Herbal Certification Pathway is to offer retroactive cohort auditing throughout your journey. What does this mean?

For example, you have completed your first year with us and will be moving forward into Year 2. Automatically included in your ongoing tuition is the opportunity to audit the next year’s cohort while you are actively enrolled. As a student progresses along our certification path, they will continue to have the opportunity to refresh their skills, review material, and connect with our broader certification community members.

While we are in the process of developing a program we stand behind - this is a stop gap way to continue to embody this vision. As far as we know, herbal certification audits is a completely unique offer solely provided by Ancestral Arts today industry wide.
