As an emergent grassroots response to the 2025 LA Fires, our core team member Sophia of Avraveda launched the “LA Herbal Mutual Aid Initiative.”
In coalition with Ancestral Arts and The Yummy Heart, with support from Tea at Shiloh and mud/wtr gather
– we are organizing the production and distribution of acute herbal care kits for the community with a specific focus on:
Frontline Fire Brigades - specifically incarcerated individuals
At Risk Populations
Individuals with housing directly impacted by the Fires
With a special focus on acute support for the respiratory and nervous systems.
